Affair of the Heart February 11th , 4-9pm at the Lane County Fairgrounds Grab your girlfriends! The evening includes Fire on the Runway fashion show, giveaways, entertainment, Healthy Woman Program speakers and demonstrations, shopping, wine tasting and food samples, a piano bar and lounge with a martini station, wine/beer/champagne and a delicicious array of food. Night of a Thousand Stars - Art for Animals Benefit Join us at 5:30 pm Friday, November 20th, at the 5th Street Public Market! Gervais will be participating in this grand event featuring musical performances by some of Eugene's premier performance groups, including: the Dickens Carolers, All That Jazz's "The Grinch", and the Nutcracker ballet. This night will also be the grand opening of the artisan Holiday Bazaar as well as Greenhill Humane Society's "Art for Animals" benefit and silent auction. We will be handing out refreshments, tea, and offering complimentary Gervais 'mini-experiences'. Gervais Fabulous Fridays! Stop by our Lincoln or 5th Street Market location on any Friday during the month of December. Gervais will be offering complimentary services, drinks, and refreshments... giving you a taste of the Gervais Experience! 2009 Holiday Gala! On December 4th, at our 5th Street Market location, we will be having our annual Holiday Gala. From 5 to 9pm you can experience a sample of the Gervais Experience. We will have hors d'oevres and appetizers available, and will be giving out gift bags, samples, and information on our products & services. Extended Holiday Hours! Our Market location will be extending their hours until 8pm, Monday thru Friday, through the holiday season. We Won! - Best of Eugene 2009-2010 We are honored to have won again this year in the category of Best Personal Indulgence Provider through the Eugene Weekly!
June is Men's Appreciation Month at Gervais! April 22nd is Earth Day, but all of April is Earth Month at Gervais. Our focus this year is clean water. We will have raffle tickets and limited edition products for purchase. 100% of the proceeds will go to Global Greengrants - our global partner. Anniversaries & Cake! We love a reason to celebrate! In the month of June we celebrate the Two-Year Anniversary of our Fifth Street Market location (June 1st). We Love our Men... Oh yes we do! June is Men's Appreciation Month and every male guest that has a hair appointment in June will receive a complimentary treatment with our new Pureformance Exfoliating Shampoo. Bring your favorite guy in for our stress relieving treatment with our Pureformance Composition Oil. Don't forget: Father's Day is June 20th!
	MEET AUGUST BLUE! As you may remember from the last newsletter, we are flush with babies this year at Gervais. We would like to welcome our newest addition, August, son of Koki Wilson our amazing manager. He is a dream!
	NEW APPRENTICES! We would like to congratulate Mattle and Greye in beginning our apprenticeship program. Both ladies have actually been with Gervais for over a year but have now begun our Gervais Academy training program. As fully licensed and trained stylists, our Apprentices continue their education with our advanced program, where they learn to make the Gervais Difference.
	CONGRATULATIONS! This August we will be graduating our first class of Academy stylists to Gervais Stylists. Alida, Marti, Meghan, and Kayla have been working hard and honing their skills for the last 12 months and are now advancing to the next stylist level. Congratulations ladies - you've earned it!
	PROUD WINNERS AGAIN! Gervais would like to thank all of the students who voted us "Best Salon" in the Oregon Daily Emerald. We really love our student guests and have been able to meet more of their financial needs with our new Academy services. Click here to visit our awards page.
	DON'T DRINK THE WATER! Being a compnay with 45+ women does mean babies are bound to happen, but it's reaching record numbers! We have six, that's right, SIX pregnant beauties! We are actually investigating opening a Gervais Daycare program. We are so excited to meet all these new family members!
	10 YEARS OLD! This April will be Gervai's ten year anniversary. We are so excited and proud of how much we have grown. It has been an amazing decade of caring for our guests and each other. Please be sure to join us for our anniversary party on the 20th of April!

	NEW GERVAIS LOVE! We would like to welcome Geneva to the Gervais family. This talented new stylist is excellent in her work and is a perfect fit to the Gervais team. Come see her at the Market location!
	IMPROVED SERVICE! Gervais is proud to announce the opening of our call center! With the new location up and sprinting we realized our call volume had skyrocketed. All calls are now answered in our call center located at the Spa location. This allows the phone staff to have more time and detail with calls and our front desk to have more time to assist guests. We are very excited to move to this next level of excellence!

We would like to congratulate Kelsey Cornely on graduating from apprentice to Gervais Stylist!
She has dedicated a lot of time and energy to her skills over the last year and has grown a successful and rewarding practice! Congratulations Kelsey!

2008 Holiday Gala

Our December '08 Holiday Gala was quite a success!
Employees, family & clients got a chance to enjoy two tables of wonderful food and other delights.
We gave out gift bags with samples of our products, certificates for services, and information on the many
different ways our clients can take advantage of the Gervais Experience!
